  • Reading Rooms (Rauhankatu 17):
    • January-May:
      Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri 09.00-18.00,
      Wed 09.00-20.00
      the first Saturday of the month, at 09.00-14.00 (2012: 3.3., 14.4., 5.5.)
    • Documents are delivered Monday to Friday until 14.30.
    • Copy service: Mon-Fri 10.00-16.00
  • Reading rooms (Hallituskatu):
    • Mon-Fri 09.00-15.00

Exceptions in opening hours

Please notice that National Archives reading rooms will close at 16.00 on the following days:

  • Twelfth Night
  • Maundy Thursday
  • May Day Eve (if weekday)
  • Eve of Ascension Day
  • The day before Midsummer's Eve
  • Halloween
  • Independence Day Eve (if weekday)
  • The day before Christmas Eve
  • New Year's Eve
